Let's hope I get it done more quickly this time.SoapSudsationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11718909493010782389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8406769703698885901.post-11444512149485292402013-01-30T08:03:08.762-08:002013-01-30T08:03:08.762-08:00Um, yeah, anything fitted needs to be worked from ...Um, yeah, anything fitted needs to be worked from a measurement. :} I don't usually bother with gauge, but I do measure the head circumference of whoever's getting the hat so I can at least approximate it. Live and learn! You need to knit a second one that fits, and by that time, you'll love knitting hats so much, you'll want to keep the needles! Besides, I already bought the DPNs that I need, thanks. :)Teresa Robesonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03848939225552527941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8406769703698885901.post-2370094562023757892013-01-27T21:48:23.994-08:002013-01-27T21:48:23.994-08:00I should've been smart and measured his head t...I should've been smart and measured his head to see how long I'd have to knit to have a rim he could roll up (a la Tim Hortons?) Because you're right, it does look like it would be warming up a diffferent anatomy the way it is right now.

I should send you my needles because I probably won't be knitting another hat for a while.SoapSudsationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11718909493010782389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8406769703698885901.post-36510366822819380332013-01-27T13:57:50.736-08:002013-01-27T13:57:50.736-08:00Good for you for finishing this! LOL!

I'm still waiting to buy needles so I can knit a hat for hubby...and possibly one for myself because, dagnabbit, it's taking me forever to crochet one. Sheesh woman, you are putting me to shame. Now don't mind me while I go to a corner and sulk because I really am the worst procrastinator in the world. But in the meantime... Totally laughing my butt off at your big O comment. Lolll! Your toque turned out great! I am sure your hubby will love it.
