Last week, hubby and I went to partake in the
VanDusen Festival of Lights. Luckily for us, traffic wasn't as bad as one would expect when everyone's dog is out doing their Christmas shopping and Mother Nature was kind enough to keep the rains away. Here are pictures from the show.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Merry Festivus or whatever you celebrate.
Makes me wanna sing "Walkin' In a Winter Wonderland!" ;)
ReplyDeleteYou do that. I know how much your kids love it when you sing in public. ;D
DeleteOr in private for that matter. ;P
DeleteLove love love! Wish I were there. We don't have a light display quite like that around here unfortunately. Do you get lots of snow where you are?
ReplyDeleteI think if you came here during winter time Michelle, it'd still seem rather balmy compared to your MN winters. Maybe you can petition one of your local parks to put on a light display. But you do have enough on the go already, maybe get your people to do the petitioning for you. ;)
DeleteThankfully we don't tend to get a lot of snow, and/or it doesnt' stay for too long. We don't get the nice fluffy stuff usually, so I'd rather not have snow.
Beautiful lights, that must have been quite a sight in person. You captured some beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing them!
ReplyDeleteIt was cool, literally! But well worth it and yes, the camera doesn't do it justice. They have music going on at times and synch the lights to it so it makes for a very pretty scene. Glad you enjoyed it.
