Spirals and curls

In my last post, I had used pottery tools to dig out ridges in the loaf of soap. Those pieces of soap came out in fun spirals which made for pretty embeds.

I used the sugar hearts again, just because they're so cute.

You could say I'm getting ready for Valentine's, but I'm such a non-romantic, that's hardly what inspired these soaps.

Have a great week!

  1. When you run a biz, it's not what appeals to yo but what appeals to the masses. ;) Those spirals look like these shells I've seen and picked up before (they also look like tapeworms...LOL!)

    1. But isn't it all about, me, me, me? ;) Oh wait, only if I change my name to Hugh, right? ;D Tapeworms might be just the ticket (or soap) for a budding doctor or scientist.

  2. This is modern art! I think I especially like the first one... It is really odd for a soap! I feel like turning it around in all directions! Very intriguing!

    1. I'm glad you like it; the picture didn't turn out as well as I'd like in terms of showing how the embeds are sticking out part way, but I like the colours well enough.

Yes the swirls really have no rhyme or reason to them, kinda like me. :)
