From one craft to another

I managed to make the 24 peace soaps for my friend and now it's on to the next thing.

From top left, clockwise: sugar cookies, chocolate pepper cookies, gingerbread cookies and chocolate melting kisses

There are more icebox cookies in the fridge waiting to be baked and the sugar and gingerbread cookies still need to be iced. Funny how these things always take way longer than I anticipate.

Are you doing any baking for the holiday season? And if anyone wants to know, I'm eating all these cookies myself. ;)

  1. You are a baking maniac! I've given up baking for others, as you already know.

    1. I think dad would be disappointed if I didn't bring him some home made goods every once in a while. ;)

    1. Would you, could you? That would be super fun and that's the thing, I love to bake, but once I'm done, I'm not necessarily into eating it all.

I'd send you a care package if I thought it'd survive the trip.

    2. Your baked goods are so yummy, if you mailed them the postman when eat them all before they got here.

  4. Me, too! Coming over! I'm one of those who don't like to cook/bake, or whateverso, but I feel a deep admiration for all of you who do!
Noooo, you're not gonna eat all of them....?!! Don't be selfish, let others enjoy your skills!

    1. Definitely, come on over Maja! I'd love to sit and chat with wonderful people like yourself. Mind you, mine won't be nearly as amazing as what Nat makes, but we'd have fun anyway. ;)

As much as I'd love to eat them all, I don't want to deal with the weight gain that goes with it, so much of this will be given away.

  5. Looks yummy, Monica! I hope I can bake a little bit for the holidays once I get to my parents' house. I always love ginger cookies this time of the year. Well, any time of the year, really.

    1. I hope you find time as well Jenny, it's quite therapeutic to bake, isn't it? I agree, ginger cookies are yummy and since ginger is good for you, it means we should eat more ginger cookies, right? ;)

  6. Now my children are baking the cookies themselves... I'm glad they took over the custom! Christmas cookies are so good!

  7. That's wonderful! I'm sure many parents would love to have their kids do the baking and then the parents can sit back and enjoy the end results without having to do the work.
