Layering

That's what makes the most sense this time of year; bundle up for the weather outside, but take off most of it when you're inside where it's hopefully nice and cozy. Layering works great in that situation, lots of layers so you can shed them as you need but thin layers so you can make slight changes to adjust your comfort level.

Lots of layers don't work for me, at least not when soaping. Or maybe I just need more practice and should stop being so lazy. This is just for home use, so I'm not too bothered by it. Plus, it smells of "Grandma's Griddle with a hint of fruit (because who doesn't like some fruit syrup on their waffles?) so at least it smells really yummy.

It even looks like cake!

It's party in a soap!

The loaf, pre-cut

Have a great week!

    1. Thanks Siliva! I have to say it smells delicious and it is hard not to take a bite out of it especially as my cookie stash is going down.

    1. Thanks Teresa! As you can see in the loaf, some of the dark layer spilled into the white layer, so not as perfect as it should be. But practice makes perfect.
