Frustrations abound

I'd almost run out of white MP soap a few months back, so went to a local store to pick up some base. I usually buy from Otion (Brambleberry's storefront) but with the exchange being as it was, I decided to buy local, but purchase a brand that's well known.

It turned out, well not as expected. First of all, it's not the white base, even though it looked pretty darned white when I bought it. Secondly, it's not as clear glycerin as I expected clear soap to be.


My only consolation with this is that the bottom is scented with grapefruit FO which smells delicious. That and I'm not a baseball fan anyway.

      Well it's a live and learn process isn't it? I'll just have to find other uses for this soap, something that doesn't require it to be clear.

    I love grapefruit! And no that is not clear or white. :(

      The grapefruit FO is amazing, and it makes up slightly for the lack of clarity.

    It's so frustrating when the ingredients are not what we are lead to believe they are. I'm sorry your soap didn't work out the way you wanted :(
