Peaceful, Easy Feeling

No soap this week. I think I've hit my inspiration wall and I've been busy with other things. So, for a change of scenery (literally) here's some pictures of where I can walk to during lunch time at my current work assignment.

While it's not white sandy beaches, it is still a beach but not the populated part either.

Hope you have a great week and if you can find the soap inspiration fairy, can you tell her to stop by my place? Please and thank you.

  2. I'm going to bait a silicon mold to see if I can catch the soap inspiration fairy for you. Heh.

Gorgeous scenery! It's too cold to go barefoot in Vancouver anyway so you don't need sandy beaches. ;)

    1. Wouldja Teresa? That'd be so great. Wonder if it grants more than one wish.

It's nice that it's the quiet part of the beach, I think mainly just the people living around there use this entrance. You're right, it was a little on the chilly side, although if you take those stairs down to the beach a few times, you'd warm up pretty quick.

  3. That's a nice place to slip away to when on break. Perhaps you'll get some soapy inspiration on one of your lunch walks in such a beautiful spot :)

    1. I think this is all the vacation I can afford this year Nat! Something local that doesn't take long to get to.

If I ever find the inspiration fairy, I'll be sure to tell her to make a stop at your house as well.

  5. That's a beautiful place to relax and spend some time by yourself. I love those quiet moments. The sound of the water is so calming.
I know what you mean about hitting your inspiration wall. I've been staring at that wall for a long time regarding food. I seriously seriously need the food fairy this week. Could she be with you? I will tell the soap fairy to pay you a visit. ;)

    1. I wish I could spend longer down there but lunch break is only 1/2 hour. Maybe I should just get there super early in the morning instead, that would be a good way to start the day.

Sorry Silvia, you can't have both the food and the soap fairy. ;) It's probably just the food fairy's getting jealous over all the time and effort you've been spending on your gorgeous soap creations.

  6. I've always liked the idea of living at the seaside, it sounds kinda miraculous to me. By moving south to Macedonia, you could say I've made a progress, now I'm closer to the nearest sea, haha!
I suppose we all have those 'inspiration-free' moments, but then, just a sparkle from surrounding hits us and we can move on. Like in these pictures, I've experienced so many spa moments only by watching them!

    1. Where I'm working right now, there are quite a few houses with oceanfront views and I'm very jealous of them. Macedonia sounds really cool Maja, and it must be nice to be at least a little bit closer, right? ;)

I don't think you've ever hit a dry spell, you just don't have time to show us all your new creations right?
