Sweet Things

It's only the start of February and I've already screwed up my resolution of blogging every Friday. I'm blaming it on my lack of a laptop, yeah, that's it. Also, starting the new job, I'm learning to get back into the swing of having to go to work and do the things that need doing around the house.

Since I have no new items to talk about in terms of soaping, I thought I'd share this picture instead. It combines two things enjoyed by two of my favourite followers:  cupcakes and bees. The picture is from a book called Planet Cake, by the store of the same name. If you think I borrowed the book to learn how to make such amazing cakes, think again. I borrowed it so I could drool all over the book and make a disgusting mess for the next person who borrows it. ;)

  1. I hope your new job is going well! What a cute picture of bees with cupcakes- I like bees that way- sugar coated. Actually bees really scare me, but with Michelle's blog and education about them- I'm slowly beginning to understand them more.

    1. Thanks Carrie, it's been like going to school for the first week, everything's new and novel so very enjoyable. Michelle has been doing a great job in educating all of us on bees hasn't she?

  2. Yummy! Too pretty to eat though. :} I've dropped the ball on some of my resolutions too; something's gotta give when you have too many things on your plate.

    1. I liked these cupcakes better than ones they made of babies' faces, that I really coudln't eat. You do have way too many things on your plate, me, I'm just disorganized.

  3. OMG I love those bees!!! Why can't I create something so cute? I'm going to add to what Teresa said with I think New Years Resolutions are for the birds. Lol!

    1. You make other equallly cute things, and less fattening ones. ;) I know, I rarely make new year's resolutions because I can't seem to keep them, so you're right, the birds can have them. ;)
