Baby gift

My sister-in-law asked for some soaps as part of a baby shower gift she was attending. I suggested the numbers and spelling out the baby's name. Colour scheme of mauve, pink and white using goat's milk. The teddy bears are from a chocolate mould.

Have a great week!

  1. Very nice, I'm sure those were an absolute hit at the party! I like the colours, especially this baby pinkish. Is Alexis a boy's name, or could it be both?

I've been following your blog like forever, but now I have officially joined the 'people with discerning tastes' group. I don't know how my name hadn't already been there, I'd probably copied and pasted your link into my blogger reading list!?

    1. Thank you Maja! I think goat's milk soap is always wonderful and a great soap for babies. Alexis is currently a girl's name, usually short for Alexandra, but who knows what will happen in a number of years; after all, Bambi and Paris both started out as boy's names.

That's funny! For someone who wasn't following officially, you are so very good at always being here to comment and I really appreciate that.

  2. That is adorable, love the little bears on the end. Such a great and unique gift to receive at a shower. Baby will be bathed in wonderful handmade soap, can't beat that.

    1. Thanks Michelle! Yeah the bear moulds are cute and seeing how I wasn't going to bother making chocolates with them, I might as well put them to other use. I just hope the parents don't try and eat the bears. ;)
